Biography
Professor Brandi Stanley joined Kramer School of Nursing faculty in January of 2020 after experiencing the 鈥淜ramer Way鈥 as a PhD student. The philosophies of respect for self and respect for others as evidenced by the motto, 鈥淏e excellent to each other,鈥 combined with the emphasis on academic rigor, attracted her to the school. She is passionate about teaching mental health through content instruction and lived experiences. Teaching future nurses the concepts of mental health and illness alongside self-care skills necessary for wellness develops their empathy for others and the ability to continue in sustained nursing practice.
