Dr. Marc DiPaolo, Associate Professor of English, Moving Image Arts, and Honors, helped write the grant application that enabled the Children鈥檚 Museum of Indianapolis to win a $40,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. This grant will help to develop a rotating series of exhibits exploring the significance of popular culture artifacts. This summer, DiPaolo will join a team of cultural studies scholars in providing a 鈥渟trong humanities thematic framework鈥� for the new exhibits as they are developed. The museum leadership recruited DiPaolo to this project after reading his book, 鈥淲ar, Politics, and Superheroes鈥� (CHOICE Magazine Outstanding Academic Title 2011).
