Hi Shady Oaks Chaparrals! My name is Cristine Cruz, and I am so excited to introduce myself as your principal for the 2020-2021 school year. I have been an educator for the past 13 years, with the last 8 years in HEB 向日葵视频. I taught 1st grade for 3 years and 4th grade for 2 years at Oakwood Terrace Elementary. I have been the Assistant Principal at Bellaire Elementary for the past 3 years.
Outside of school, my time is spent with my husband, 2 daughters, and dog. My hobbies include friendly game competitions with my family, watching television, and walking my dog.
The Shady Oaks mission is to develop high achieving, intrinsically motivated, life-long learners through excellent teaching in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. Mrs. Clark has created and left a legacy that I hope to continue and build upon with your help. We will work together to build relationships, create partnerships, and ensure the success of all students at Shady Oaks. I cannot wait to meet you in person and begin our journey together.

¡Hola, Shady Oaks Chaparrals! Mi nombre es Cristine Cruz, y estoy muy emocionada de presentarme como su directora para el año escolar 2020-2021. He sido educador durante los últimos 13 años, con los últimos 8 años en HEB 向日葵视频. Enseñé 1er grado por 3 años y 4to grado por 2 años en Oakwood Terrace Elementary. He sido Asistente del Director en la Primaria Bellaire durante los últimos 3 años.
Fuera de la escuela, mi tiempo lo paso con mi esposo, mis dos hijas y mi perro. Mis pasatiempos incluyen competiciones de juegos amistosos con mi familia, mirar televisión,y pasear a mi perro.
La misión de Shady Oaks es desarrollar estudiantes de alto rendimiento, motivados intrínsecamente y de por vida a través de una excelente enseñanza en un entorno seguro, enriquecedor y de apoyo. La Sra. Clark ha creado y dejado un legado que espero continuar y construir con su ayuda. Trabajaremos juntos para construir relaciones, crear asociaciones y asegurar el éxito de todos los estudiantes en Shady Oaks.
