Many generous donors have made endowed scholarships available to OCU students. Scholarships are awarded based on many factors—primarily academic merit and financial need. Some donors have made gifts to benefit United Methodist Church members, athletes, student leaders, particular majors and more.
Scholarships may be awarded directly to students or may be used to fulfill merit- and need-based scholarship levels that have been promised to students at the time of admission. In the latter case, there is not a separate scholarship application.
If you are an incoming student seeking scholarship support, please contact your admissions counselor. If you are a current student seeking scholarship support, talk with your academic adviser to find out what scholarships are available for your major and within your school, and talk with your student organization advisers to find out if OCU has related scholarships.
