Midway Park Elementary School, the first "school-in-the-round," opened its doors in the fall of 1967. The round concept was selected because of its adaptability to the educational program and its economy in construction.

For more than fifty years, the community/staff partnership has continued to grow and adapt to meet the needs of each and every student. The seventy plus dedicated members of the faculty truly share the philosophy that every child can and will succeed. We work hard to help the students to understand they are responsible for their learning and for behavior but we are here to support every student, every day.

Midway Park has an enrollment of approximately 630 students from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Educational programs at Midway Park include both regular education for pre-kindergarten through sixth grades and special education programs for pre-kindergarten through sixth grades.

In addition, the ESL program serves over 200 students. Special events such grade level curriculum nights, all school activities, our annual Fall Carnival and other student performances add to a campus climate and culture that is second to none.

Midway Park is dedicated to providing a child-centered educational environment which fosters a lifelong love of learning, enables the achievement of personal fulfillment, and produces responsible citizens.
