Parents & Family Day Fall 2024 - Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024

Parents and family members of current OCU students are invited to attend Parents & Family Day during the Fall semester.

Events are open to all parents and family members of current OCU students! The Parents & Family Day Reception, Homecoming Parade, Basketball name, and LipSync are free to parents & family members. Other events during the day may require an admittance fee.

Here are a few highlights for the schedule – the full schedule will be added soon!

1 – 2 P.M. - HOMECOMING PARADE | Perimeter of Campus

Check out our campus and OKC community members in our Homecoming Parade around campus.

2 – 3:30 P.M. - PARENTS & FAMILY HOMECOMING RECEPTION | Wilson House

Wilson House, 2500 N. Blackwelder Ave, OKC 73106. 

We invite you to join parents and family members of current OCU students, 4s and 9s graduates, for the Parent & Family Reception! Light refreshments will be served.

3:30 - 5 P.M. – OCU HOMECOMING TAILGATE, Outside the Freede Wellness Center

Join your student for our Homecoming Tailgate prior to the Men’s Basketball game! There will be opportunities to participate in a variety of tailgate games, visit tables & tents of university offices, student organizations, and reunion classes. There will be plenty of free giveaways – including the official Parents & Family Day t-shirt. Food trucks will be available with food for purchase. 

5 P.M. – ABE LEMON’S CLASSIC, OCU BASKETBALL GAME, Freede Wellness Center, Abe Lemons Arena

8 P.M. – 40^th ANNIVERSARY OF LIPSYNC, Freede Wellness Center, Abe Lemons Arena
