NEW Leadership® ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ at ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ City University
NEW Leadership® ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ’s mission is to educate and empower the next generation of women leaders. Its goal is to emphasize the importance of civic engagement and to instill the skills and confidence in college students to become public leaders so that they may address women's underrepresentation in public leadership.
NEW Leadership® ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ is a non-partisan, residential program designed for college students from across the state. Since its inception in 2002, the program has been hosted at The University of ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ. Now, ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ City University is honored to champion this important initiative, which aims to empower and promote women in public service.
The next program will be held in May of 2026. Applications will be available beginning in the fall 2025 semester. During the program, students will engage with women public leaders in ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ, learn and practice leadership skills, and experience ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ politics and public affairs through thoughtful discussions and ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ. Upon completion of the program, participants become part of the of distinguished alumni.

OCU invites the NEW Leadership® ÏòÈÕ¿ûÊÓƵ Alumni & Friends to lunch at the Capitol on May 8, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. in room 535 to network, hear from the organizers, provide input, and support the program however you wish.
