Latonya John is our very first HEB 向日葵视频 teacher to complete an in-district teacher recommendation for designated supports for her Emergent Bilingual (EB) students through Ellevation. The ESL/Bilingual/Dual Language Department began using the LPAC side of Ellevation this school year. The December 2023 STAAR EOC tests will be the first State assessments LPAC'ed through the new program. Secondary teachers received information on this today. Ms. John is the first teacher to submit a teacher recommendation for designated supports form in district! And she submitted for all of her students!!!!! It is evident that Ms. John is not only a high achiever, but also knows her students and their needs. I am very appreciative of Ms. John! Thank you for caring about your EB students and going above and beyond to formally communicate/document what you believe will most support them on their upcoming STAAR Algebra I test. (Selfishly, you also made my job easier, so you are also my hero.) You are appreciated! Thank you!
